Our Fees

Psychological fees at TPS are covered by most employee/workplace insurance benefits. Ask your employer, benefit manager or contact the insurance company directly to learn the extent of your insurance coverage for a registered psychologist or psychological associate.

Psychological fees correspond to those recommended by the College of Psychologists of Ontario. At TPS, the fees may depend upon the practitioner, as well as type, complexity and extent of service.

Fees may be paid by VISA, Mastercard, Interac, money order or cash. Unfortunately, we do not accept cheques.



Missed or Cancelled Appointments

Missed appointments or appointments cancelled without sufficient notice have the potential to be troublesome and to challenge the therapeutic relationship. To protect that relationship, our policy concerning missed appointments is adhered to without exception. TPS charges $75 for all appointments missed or cancelled with less than 48-hours' notice and regardless of the reason, whether it be illness, emergency or inclement weather.

Appointments may be cancelled by fax, email, voice-mail message or by speaking directly to someone at TPS. It is important that if you leave a voicemail cancellation, you ensure that you receive confirmation from TPS to guarantee the cancellation is in effect. Saturday appointments must be cancelled by Thursday and Monday appointments must be cancelled by Saturday.

Receipts for missed appointments say "Missed Appointment". To do otherwise may defraud insurers.
